Metalwork in Wormerveer

Kaaijk Metaalbewerking in Wormerveer

Wormerveer lies a few kilometres further along the Zaan and, like Zaandam, is part of the Zaan region. From our workshop on the Daalderweg we are there quickly. For homes and businesses in Wormerveer we make forged work, steel doors and screens, stairs, handrails, railings and steel structures.

Traditional forging and sleek steel along the Zaan

Along the Zaan in Wormerveer you find wooden Zaan houses and former factory buildings from the region's industrial history. Wooden buildings suit forged strap hinges, hinge pins and hinges or a forged gate, which we still make with coal fire, hammer and anvil. In a converted commercial building or loft you are more likely to choose a steel screen, an open staircase or a balustrade of steel and glass.
