Steel screen with doors

Steel screen with doors

This steel screen closes off a living room beneath a void and runs round the corner in one continuous line. Fixed glass panels and several pairs of double doors keep the space open and light.

The black profiles have a calm layout, with horizontal glazing bars that continue at the same height across the whole screen. Long, upright handles make the doors pleasant to use. At the top, the screen meets the dark beam below the ceiling neatly.

As with every door or screen, we measured up first and made a design drawing. The screen was then made in our workshop in Zaandam, powder coated and installed on site. Finally the safety glass was fitted.

The gallery shows more steel screens and doors from our workshop, including a screen with a double door to the dining room and a screen between hallway and kitchen.
